Introduction: Stress is a mental or physical phenomenon formed through one’s cognitive appraisal and stimulation result of interaction with the environment. among nursing students comes from many sources it global issue. Students cannot avoid stress but their ability to cope these stressors important in achieving success academic performance. Aim: This study aimed assess effectiveness Deep Breathing Exercises on First Year B.Sc Nursing students. Materials Methods: : Pre-experimental research approach one group pre-test–post-test design was used conduct study. Non-probability Judgmental sampling technique select 40 samples total 50 The tool Modified Rating scale. Result: present revealed that mean pre-test scores were 94.48 standard deviation 16.839 post-test 77.92 5.650. had reduced after intervention technique. Paired ‘t’ test done find out technique, value (t=8.881) which showed reduction significant (p<0.05). Conclusions: concluded an effective
